BACKGROUND:

Haifa Port is one of the three major ports in Israel, located on the Mediterranean coast of Haifa Bay.

The Haifa Port Terminal serves hundreds of thousands of Israeli and tourist passengers and dozens of cruises every year. The terminal itself is equipped with all the necessary services and is directly linked to Haifa's subway. It is also a few minutes walk from the Haifa Central train station.

PROBLEM:

- The tourists' lack of knowledge about Haifa.

-The information offered to the tourists is ineffective and out of date.

-Tourists are unaware of the options available at haifa's down town.

-The tourists are not exposed to the diverse places and businesses at haifa's down town.

-Haifa's down town businesses are economically losing out on the lack of tourist orientation.
